The Green Bay Packers will face the Cleveland Browns in preseason action on Saturday. According to Packers head coach Matt LaFleur, he mentions that quarterback Jordan Love will play in that preseason game.
LaFleur also told Matt Schneidman of The Athletic that all of the other starters will play with Jordan Love on Saturday except for offensive lineman Zach Tom. Tom is slowly recovering from a pectoral injury. They hope he could be ready for the start of the 2024 season.
It is unknown how long the starters will play against the Cleveland Browns. This is an interesting move for the Packers. Jordan Love missed the start of training camp because he was waiting for a new contract.
Green Bay Packers Fans React To Jordan Love Playing In the Game Against the Cleveland Browns
There are always going to be interesting reactions from the fanbase about playing the starters in training camp. Some think that they should wait until Week 1 to play because of the risk of injury. Some believe that they should see some live-game action so they are not rusty.
It will be interesting to see how Jordan Love connects with wide receivers Dontayvion Wicks, Romeo Doubs, Christian Watson, and Jayden Reed during the preseason. Will this be the only preseason game that Love suits up in? Who knows, but this is how some of the fans reacted to the news that Jordan Love would be playing in this preseason matchup against the Cleveland Browns:
Should be conservative and keep him off field until fully healthy ol is in. We need Zach back I. Line up if love has to suit up

Give me 2 drives, then it should be the Michael Pratt show

With a completely healthy OL, sure
Your all-pro caliber RT not playing, somewhat silly to put the highest paid QB out there for a pointless game..

After that, who will the Packers turn to? Will Sean Clifford see the field first or will it be Michael Pratt? The Packers fanbase would rather see them play because they don’t want to see Love get injured.
