The Green Bay Packers have a few positions on their roster that they would like to address in the 2025 NFL Draft. While fans and analysts continue to speculate as to what general manger Brian Gutekunst and the front office will do, it is pretty clear that they have a plan, and that they are not making that plan public. So, for now, fans will continue to speculate and participate in mock drafts, trying to determine what player, or players, Green Bay will select in various rounds.
In the latter years of his tenure with the Packers, four-time NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers made his frustrations with Green Bay’s front office fairly well-known. Whether it was for not re-signing players that were his friends or not investing draft capital where he believed they should, it was clear, at the end, that Rodgers simply did not like Gutekunst.
Jordan Love, however, appears to have a different approach when it comes to the front office and the NFL Draft.
Green Bay Packers Quarterback Jordan Love Is Not Involved in NFL Draft Strategy

Love, unlike his predecessor, does not do weekly interviews with any specific show or shows. However, he does occasionally appear on the “Up and Adams” show hosted by Kay Adams, especially during the offseason.
During his most recent appearance on the show, Love was asked how he, as a leader on the team, communicates to the “powers that be” what position, or positions, he is interested in them taking.

“Everybody’s got thoughts and opinions. The Packers do a great job. We talked with Gutey, the GM, and Matt [LaFleur]. We talked after the season about what direction we feel we need to go in for next season.
“And then I kind of just let them do their thing, you know? They’re the pros at this, at going through the draft process, interviewing all these guys, and figuring out who is going to be a good player/fit.
“But also, a good locker room fit for the team. That’s a huge part of it, is guys coming in and ready to learn, compete, and be a good teammate.
“You know, I kind of just let them handle their business. The draft is always a hectic period. You never know who you’re going to get, what pick, what trades are going to happen. So, I just like to sit back and take it all in, and be ready to reach out to those guys after the fact.”
So, while many Packers fans are hoping for a wide receiver early in the draft, it certainly sounds like the quarterback is good with whoever Green Bay picks, no matter what their position.
That is a really stark contrast from the attitude of his predecessor.
