The Green Bay Packers finished with an 11-6 record in the 2024 NFL season before losing to the Philadelphia Eagles in the first round of the NFL playoffs. Green Bay for the second straight season was the seventh seed in the NFC.

It will be interesting to see how Green Bay could be better during the 2025 NFL season. Some fans think that general manager Brian Gutekunst did not do enough this offseason to fix some of the holes on its roster. The defense could still be a major question mark. However, there is a reason why the Packers fanbase should be looking forward to the 2025 NFL season.

NFL Analyst Lists One Reason As To Why the Green Bay Packers Fanbase Will Have Hope For the 2025 NFL Season

Green Bay has not won a Super Bowl trophy since the 2010 NFL season. Tyler Sullivan of CBS Sports listed one reason for each team as to why they should look forward for the 2025 NFL season. Sullivan said,

    “Jordan Love’s late-season surges

For the second year in a row, Jordan Love has shown us his ability to come alive down the stretch. I think that’s a window into the peak of his powers, which Green Bay should hope comes together throughout a full season. Over the last two seasons, Love has gone 11-5 with 28 touchdowns and just two interceptions between Weeks 11 and 18. However, Love’s hot streak came to a screeching halt with a three-interception performance in a one-and-done showing against the Eagles. While that definitely leaves a sour taste, Love is flashing elite potential at times. And with first-round receiver Matthew Golden now slotted in as another weapon, it’s possible we see more of that version of the Green Bay QB.”

During the 2024 NFL season, Love completed 63.1% of his passes for 3,389 yards, 25 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. He also rushed for 83 yards on 25 carries and one touchdown, along with averaging 3.3 yards per carry. Love also missed a couple of games last season due to injury.

Hopefully for his sake, he will get off to a better start during the 2025 NFL season. They drafted two wide receivers in the first three rounds of the 2025 NFL Draft. Matthew Golden and Savion Williams could be a big help in the offense. Golden and tight end Tucker Kraft could be the top receiving options for Love in 2025, to go along with Josh Jacobs running out of the backfield.
