Green Bay Packers Legend Trends As Next Option After Randall Cobb Signs With Jets

The New York Jets have had a Green Bay Packers reunion festival of sorts slowly tricking in this offseason. Some fans on social media have another idea in mind for a Packers legend to be the next wide receiver to join the party. And they live in Manhattan…Kansas. Reports came out Wednesday that the Jets were set to sign Randall Cobb. Cobb would join fellow former Packers Aaron Rodgers, Allen Lazard, and Billy Turner to work in Nathaniel Hackett’s offense.

The Jets have a talented team, no doubt, but the recent signings of aging former Packers players for the offense are comical to most NFL fans. The signings are absolutely ridiculous and seem only done to fit the temper of the Jets recently traded for quarterback Diva. Would the Jets scouts really be trying to bring all of these players onto the team for talent purposes?

Green Bay Packers fans get Jordy Nelson’s name trending after Randall Cobb’s news

Packers fans responded to Cobb being set to join the Jets not long after the news broke. Former Packers legend Jordy Nelson’s name was trending as another potential option for the Jets. Nelson, who is 37 years old, has not played in the NFL since the 2018 season. Is this a joking suggestion? At this point, it’s hard to know. Here are the best takes on Nelson potentially joining the Jets.

Rodgers is basically bringing his mates to NYC. Probably gonna ask the Jets to get Clay Matthews & Jordy Nelson. Nuff respect to Cobb, but he’s been past it for about 3 years https://t.co/zaQVJXjMBR
