The Green Bay Packers are hard at work preparing for the NFL Draft. Brian Gutekunst was in Arizona for the annual meeting of all the general managers as well as coaches. His next stop is Knoxville, Tennessee where he will attend Tennessee’s pro day. This has led many to wonder if the Packers are interested in the dynamic wide receiver, Jalin Hyatt.

Green Bay Packers Interested In Jalin Hyatt?
The Packers could use another wide receiver or two on their roster. Matt LaFleur spoke today about the need for a veteran in the room as Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, and Samori Toure are all second-year players. While adding another rookie wouldn’t solve that problem, adding a dynamic receiver like Hyatt might be too good to pass up. Hyatt had a breakout season highlighted by a five-touchdown performance against Alabama. If the Packers were to have an opportunity to draft Hyatt, it would add even more speed to the group.

Other Players To Watch
The Packers will do their homework on Hendon Hooker. It is unlikely that the Packers will have interest but still, scouting the player is always good. Offensive tackle Darnell Wright is someone to watch as the Packers always love drafting and developing linemen. Another wide receiver to watch out for is Cedric Tillman who, like Jalin Hyatt, had an excellent season behind the Volunteer’s prolific offense. There will be no shortage of players to watch at the Tennessee pro day.
The Green Bay Packers have done very well in drafting over the past couple of years. Last year, Gutekunst was able to find a couple of nice players in Watson and Doubs and is looking to find more talent this year. There are many opinions about what the Packers should do with their first-round pick and it will be interesting to see what direction they decide to go.
