The Green Bay Packers are entering a grueling final stretch of the season that will determine their seeding in the NFC Playoffs, and could be getting one of the defenseโ€™s most vital playmakers back on the field for Sunday nightโ€™s clash against the Seattle Seahawks.

When the Packers released this weekโ€™s initial injury report, Pro Bowl cornerback Jaire Alexander was listed as a full participant in practice, which is a major step in the right direction as he looks to return from a knee injury.

Alexander has missed five games this season, and his return against the likes of Seahawks receivers D.K. Metcalf and Jaxson Smith-Njigba could be a major boon for defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley and the Packersโ€™ secondary.

Despite battling through injuries, Alexander has intercepted two passes this season, to go with seven pass breakups and one fumble recovery.

If Green Bayโ€™s defense is going to take a big step as the postseason looms, Alexander would likely need to figure into playing a starring role.
