A former Green Bay Packers defensive lineman has taken a challenging route to get back into the NFL. There are tough battles every season for a roster spot in the competitive league. The Packers have seen a lot of roster turnover on the defensive line themselves this offseason with the departure of Dean Lowry and Jarran Reed. Those players signed with other NFL teams in free agency. Jack Heflin had to fight his way back into the NFL by playing in the XFL this season.
