The Green Bay Packers‘ offense may be shorthanded in Thursday night’s Thanksgiving showdown against Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins.
Jordan Love may need to make due without a full complement of pass catchers for the second straight year on Thanksgiving, after taking on the Detroit Lions last November without tight end Luke Musgrave against the Detroit Lions.
Green Bay Packers, Jordan Love May Be Shorthanded vs. Dolphins
This time around, it’s wide receiver Romeo Doubs who could be out on Thursday night against the Dolphins.
When the Packers listed their initial projected injury report on Monday (since the team did not actually take the practice field), Doubs was listed as a projected non-participant. Likewise, Doubs did not practice on Tuesday, either.
Doubs suffered a concussion during the Packers’ 39-10 blowout victory over the San Francisco 49ers.
If Doubs is unable to go, it would put added pressure on the rest of the Packers’ receiving corps, including Jayden Reed and Dontayvion Wicks, who combined for four catches for 51 yards Sunday afternoon against San Francisco.
Through his first 10 games this season, Doubs has caught 34 passes for 483 yards and two touchdowns.
