The Green Bay Packers (9-3-1) will take on the Denver Broncos (11-2) in a clash of division leaders and conference contenders on Sunday afternoon. Denver holds the top seed in the AFC and can clinch a berth in the NFL Playoffs with a win this weekend. Green Bay, meanwhile, will look to hold onto the second seed in the NFC and their lead in the NFC North.
Fortunately, the Packers are getting some of their young offensive talent back this week. Wide receivers Matthew Golden and Dontayvion Wicks, who had been hurt, are good to go this weekend. Unfortunately, however, their injury report indicates that other contributors on both sides of the ball will definitely be out or may end up not playing.

Packers players are are out for Sunday vs the Broncos
- Brenton Cox (groin)
- Marshawn Lloyd (calf/hamstring)
- Collin Oliver (hamstring)
By comparison, the Broncos listed just five players on their own injury report. Two of them, offensive guard Ben Powers and wide receiver Pat Bryant, are out. Offensive tackle Mike McGlinchey is questionable. Tight end Nate Adkins and defensive tackle DJ Jones are both active.
The biggest question mark for Green Bay will be the health of Jacobs, who is still dealing with swelling from the knee injury he suffered against the New York Giants two weeks ago. He had 20 carries for 86 yards and a touchdown last week against the Chicago Bears, but did not practice until Friday this week due to swelling.
It sounds like he will, once again, be a true game-time decision.
