The Green Bay Packers may be moving on from one of the most beloved Green Bay Packers players of all time. Brian Gutekunst talked to reporters at the Annual League Meeting on Monday. He had a lot to say regarding many different hot-button topics surrounding the Green Bay Packers off-season. The one that caught the most attention was about Aaron Rodgers. However, there was another comment that had fans feeling emotional. Long-time Green Bay Packers kicker Mason Crosby may have played his last game with Green Bay.
Green Bay Packers Likely To Move On From Mason Crosby

Per Zach Kruse of The Packers Wire:
Green Bay Packers GM Brian Gutekunst said he “would never close the door” on Mason Crosby but it does not sound like the veteran kicker will be back in Green Bay in 2023. The decision sounds mostly financial-motivated. “We’re limited financially, but I would never say never.”
Mason Crosby is a 2007 draft pick who has played all 16 seasons with the Packers. He is also an un-restricted free agent. He’ll turn 39 years old later this year. Gutekunst said the salary cap is a hurdle to Crosby returning for a 17th season in 2023.
The only other kicker on the Green Bay Packers roster is Parker White. White is an un-drafted free agent out of South Carolina with no regular-season NFL experience. It’s possible the Packers will have to use a draft pick – keep in mind, the team has seven picks on Day 3 of the 2023 draft – to add competition at kicker.
