Many analysts believe the Green Bay Packers will have a chance to fix their issues from last season through the 2025 NFL draft.
The team has eight picks in the draft set to be held from April 24 to April 26 at Green Bay’s Lambeau Field. They have one in the first round as they will pick 23rd.

Lots of people have suggestions. They should pick wide receiver for that first round pick. Others say it should be someone who can fortify their defense.
One thing is more likely to happen though. That first round draft pick might not see much playing time. That is what General Manager Brian Gutekunst is suggesting.
To be able to earn minutes would need tons of effort, mainly in practice.
“It’s great when they do (contribute), but that’s not always the case,” he said in front of reporters.

“The transition to the National Football League is tough. It’s not always easy. … Most of the time, a guy’s impact in his rookie year comes down to the opportunities that he had, more than anything.”
Green Bay Packers roster looks good?
Where is all these Gutekunst’s statements coming from? His confidence with the current state of his roster.
The team may have failed in the last season’s playoffs but they still feel positive about the players that they have.

“I feel really good about our roster right now. That doesn’t happen every year (heading into the draft),” he said.
“But if we had to go play next week, I feel really good about our roster. I feel like we could win and go compete — really, across the board.”
