The Green Bay Packers have moved on from a number of wide receivers over recent years. Randall Cobb, EQ St. Brown, Allen Lazard, Davante Adams, and numerous others are suiting up elsewhere (or not at all) this season.
However, one other former receiver will be looking for a new home.
Former Green Bay Packers Wide Receiver Released From Current Team

Our very own Robin Adams first highlighted the news for our website:
Unfortunately, not every former player finds that kind of success upon leaving Green Bay and/or the NFL.
One of these players is former wide receiver Geronimo Allison, who spent four seasons with the Packers from 2016-2019. During that time, he caught 89 passes for 1,045 yards and six touchdowns.
In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), Packers reporter Easton Butler revealed that Allison had just been released by the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League (CFL).
Last year, Allison played in the XFL with the Vegas Vipers. He had 22 receptions for 240 yards and a touchdown.
Fans Reacted To Geronimo Allison’s Release

When news broke that yet another Packers wide receiver is on the open market, fans took notice:
I think it’s crazy we went into 2021 with Geronimo Allison, Tyrell Williams and Trinity Benson as WR 1-3 for the first few weeks and st Brown was getting 2-3 targets til like week 6
