The Green Bay Packers have a number of weapons on their offense heading into 2023. That group is led by Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, Aaron Jones, and AJ Dillon. That being said, the offense could certainly use a few more pieces going into the 2023 season. It was recently reported that the Green Bay Packers brought in a three-time All-American that could help with that.
The Green Bay Packers Host Wide Receiver Ryan Miller

The Green Bay Packers hosted Furman wide receiver Ryan Miller on an official top-30 visit ahead of the 2023 NFL draft, according to Bill Huber of SI.com:
Listed as a tight end at Furman, Miller generally aligned as a tight slot. He recorded a school-record 28 touchdown receptions.
During the abbreviated, COVID-impacted spring season of 2020, Miller caught 15 passes for 254 yards and six touchdowns. Then came the big numbers: 43 receptions for 749 yards and seven touchdowns in 2021 and 72 receptions for 762 yards and a school-record 12 touchdowns in 2022. He finished fourth in the Southern Conference in receptions and second in receiving touchdowns.
Sure, but what did he do against better competition? How about 13 catches for 95 yards and one touchdown at Clemson. According to Pro Football Focus, he was 7-of-10 on contested-catch opportunities and averaged 6.0 yards after the catch.
He had a strong week at the Hula Bowl, including two catches and one touchdown in the game. Miller will play receiver in the NFL. He ran his 40 in 4.48 seconds with a Relative Athletic Score of 6.97.
“He’s definitely got wide receiver skills,” Furman coach Clay Hendrix told The Greenville News in 2021. “At 215 (pounds), a guy that can run like that is also hard to tackle. He’s been really, really good with the ball in his hands. … He’s one of the few guys that have consistently made explosive plays when he touches the ball. It’s a combination of speed, breaking tackles, and he’s competitive as heck.”
The Green Bay Packers have a struck gold in the past by taking a wide receiver in a late round. Donald Drive, the Green Bay Packers all-time leading wide receiver, was taken in the seventh round of the 1999 NFL Draft. Ryan Miller is currently projected to be an un-drafted free-agent in the 2023 NFL Draft, however, the Packers have a number of seventh round picks this year. It wouldn’t be surprising to see them take a chance on him if he is still there.
