The Packers are looking to make a great start to their 2024 NFL campaign after a good 2022 season where they made the playoffs and finished with a 9-8 record.
What happened in last Green Bay Packers vs. Philadelphia Eagles game?
Friday’s game in Brazil will be the first between the Packers and the Eagles since the 2022 season. During Week 12 of that campaign, the Eagles defeated Green Bay at Lincoln Financial Field, 40-33. Aaron Rodgers started that game for the Packers but had to leave in the third quarter after suffering a rib injury. Jordan Love stepped in for Rodgers and had a solid showing, completing 6-of-9 passes for 113 yards and a touchdown. Rodgers had 140 passing yards on 11-of-16 completions to go with two touchdowns and two interceptions.
The Eagles, on the other hand, were led by Jalen Hurts, who went 16-for-28 for 153 yards and two touchdowns with zero picks while also rushing for 157 yards on 17 carries.
