Green Bay Packers fans are desperate for news. Any news. While Aaron Rodgers decides what he wants to do in 2023, fans are left divided over what to wish for. Meanwhile, the Packers have several unrestricted free agents that they may want to look into bringing back, namely Keisean Nixon. Last season, Nixon revitalized the kick return position for the Packers after the horribly long Amari Rodgers experiment mercifully came to an end.
Amidst the wait for Rodgers’ decision, Packers content creators have slipped in reminders that Nixon, too, is not guaranteed to return next season, a situation that needs prompt attention from the Packers’ front office. As mentioned, Nixon rewrote the Packers’ return record book and held the role for just half of the season. He was named First Team All-Pro as a returner and has a great relationship with special teams coordinator/assistant head coach Rich Bisaccia.
Hopefully Douglas’ Tweet indicates that a deal is already in place and we’re just waiting on official confirmation.
