Green Bay Packers linebacker Edgerrin Cooper did not practice on Thursday because of a hamstring injury. Green Bay will face the San Francisco 49ers this weekend with kickoff scheduled for 3:25 p.m. CT on FOX.
The Packers are 7-3 this season and the 49ers have a 5-5 record and both teams need this game. Cooper played last week against the Chicago Bears.
Green Bay Packers Linebacker Edgerrin Cooper Does Not Practice Again on Friday
On Friday, according to Matt Schneidman of The Athletic, Cooper was not practicing again because of a hamstring injury. This is not good for his availability on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers. Cooper has had a very good rookie season up to this point for the Packers.
He has recorded 52 tackles, 2.5 sacks, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and two pass deflections. Cooper was a second-round pick from the Texas A&M Aggies in the 2024 NFL Draft. It would be interesting to see who would start in place of Cooper this weekend if he is ruled out against the 49ers.

That essentially means Coop is out on Sunday unfortunately 🥲

Both will be out.

Jaire Alexander is most likely going to be out on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers with a knee injury. A lot of Packers fans are worried about potentially having Cooper out because of Christian McCaffrey potentially running all over them in the running game. Green Bay’s defense has struggled against the ground.
