Philadelphia Eagles Cornerback Darius Slay Has Massive Concerns About the Game In Brazil Against the Green Bay Packers
Eagles cornerback Darius Slay is massively concerned about the game being played on Friday against Green Bay in Brazil. At the 36-minute mark on his podcast, Slay said:
“I do not want to go to Brazil. They already told us not to leave the hotel, they told us we can’t do too much because the crime rate is crazy. NFL, why do you want to send us somewhere where the crime rate is this high?”
Darius Slay also mentioned to his family that they should not come because they will not be going out of the hotel except for when they have to go to the stadium for the game. They will eat their meals at the team hotel.
Travel Plans Provided
With the game being on Friday, the Philadelphia Eagles team website said about the travel plans:
“The Eagles are leaving on Wednesday, flying for about 10 hours, arriving Wednesday night, having a team walkthrough at the stadium on Thursday, playing the game on Friday night, and then flying back to Philadelphia immediately after the game. The turnaround time is remarkable, and while the team is traveling outside of the United States, the time difference is only one hour.”
It will be interesting to see how the whole Brazil experience goes for the Green Bay Packers and the Philadelphia Eagles. There were already concerns about team reporters not being able to tweet live from the game in Brazil. There will be many more storylines about Brazil between now and the end of the game.
