It is Thanksgiving Day but it is business as usual for Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers, as they host the Miami Dolphins this Thursday at Lambeau Field.
Also seeing “action” this Thursday in the same venue is violinist Lindsey Stirling, who will be performing during halftime of Green Bay’s clash with the visiting AFC East division squad.
Via the Packers’ website earlier this month:
A multi-award-winning musician known for her genre-bending virtuosity on electronic violin, Stirling dazzles audiences with her arresting mixture of pop, classical, hip-hop and electronica as well as her extraordinary talents as a dancer and her meticulous attention to impactful, thematic album and video artwork.
Her shows seamlessly integrate intricate choreography, breathtaking aerial lyra acts, and stunning costumes, all of which she designs herself and seamlessly blends music, dance, and visual artistry into a singular, unforgettable experience, leaving audiences spellbound and inspired.
Lindsey Stirling to perform at Green Bay Packers-Miami Dolphins halftime show
The 38-year-old Stirling, who has nearly four million followers on Instagram, started to get mainstream attention over a decade ago. That was when she made a run all the way to the quarterfinals of “America’s Got Talent” in 2010.
Here is Stirling announcing her Thanksgiving Day halftime show in Green Bay on X (formerly Twitter).
“No better way to spend Thanksgiving than with the @packers 🏈 I’ll be performing their halftime show, I’m so excited! 🦃,” wrote Stirling in a post on Wednesday.

The Packers’ official X account also commented on Stirling’s post with a message that read: “We can’t wait! See you soon ☺️”
Green Bay enters Thursday’s game with an 8-3 record and on the heels of consecutive wins over the Chicago Bears and San Francisco 49ers. The 5-6 Dolphins are on a roll themselves, as they are on a three-game win streak following a victory against the New England Patriots in Week 12.
