Green Bay Packers defensive end Arron Mosby’s first career sack came on 3rd and 4 at the 26-yard line when he sacked Lions quarterback Jared Goff. The Packers still ended up losing the game 24-14.
Mosby played five defensive snaps last week in Detroit and split a sack with Rashan Gary. He went undrafted with the North Carolina Panthers on April 30th, 2022.
Arron’s accolades and playing days at Fresno State
Arron Mosby played collegiate football at Fresno State as an outside linebacker. He appeared in 27 games over two seasons. Mosby recorded the longest interception return with a 95-yard pick 6 against SJSU in 2018.
Fresno State defensive end Arron Mosby was Mountain West Defensive Player of the Week on Aug. 30, 2021. He was also tabbed Honorable Mention All Mountain West on Nov. 30, 2021.
Arron Mosby’s achievements with Fresno State
Arron Mosby returned to Fresno State for a 5th season in 2021. He had changed positions from being a defensive end to a linebacker.
Mosby led Sanger High School to a Section Division 2 Valley Championship and County/Metro League Championship. He was a 2 Time All League Defensive Back.
Arron Mosby made the Packers roster after the Baltimore Raven’s game
The Packers claimed LB Arron Mosby off waivers on August 2, 2023. Mosby played in three games for the Carolina Panthers last season after signing as an undrafted free agent.
Packers defensive end Arron Mosby made the 53-man roster after closing preseason with a forced fumble and INT against the Ravens. This is the first time in his NFL career he’s made the initial roster.
