The Green Bay Packers have made some draft steals
The Green Bay Packers are scheduled to have seven draft picks on day three of the 2023 NFL Draft. The Packers have one pick in the fourth round, two in the fifth round, and four and the seventh round. While it’s harder to find elite talent in the latter part of the draft, the sheer number of darts the Packers have this year should land them some solid contributors for the next few seasons. The Packers have history on their side of finding hidden gems at the back of the draft.
The Packers need to find a few quality players on day three this year. The Packers don’t have much cash to spend on free agency. They need to loosen up some change for a veteran wide receiver. With three picks in the first three rounds, the Packers will still have holes to fill on defense and likely at pass catcher. Pro Football Focus has a stat that should give Packers fans some comfort the front office can land some help.
According to PFF, the Packers have three of the highest-graded players at each offensive position for a pick on the third day of the draft. Running back Aaron Jones, offensive tackle David Bahktiari, and offensive guard Josh Sitton made the list.
