After the Green Bay Packers were eliminated by the Chicago Bears in the Wild Card round of the NFL Playoffs, many fans hoped that their former All-Pro wide receiver, Davante Adams, would be able to avenge them with his current team. And that is exactly what happened.
On Sunday night, Adams and the Los Angeles Rams knocked the Bears out of the postseason with a thrilling 20-17 overtime win. Indeed, many Packers fans took great delight in seeing Chicago lose, especially since their starting quarterback, Caleb Williams, threw three interceptions.
After the game, which played amid snowfall and in frigid temperatures, Adams harkened back to his days with Green Bay when discussing what the game meant to him.
Davante Adams said NFL Playoffs win felt like an old Green Bay Packers, Chicago Bears rivalry game

Adams had just two receptions for 24 yards in Los Angeles’ win over Chicago, but he had a massive 12-yard first round reception in the fourth quarter that kept the Bears from stopping the Rams drive.
After the game, he talked to reporter Stacey Dales about the game and how it reminded him of old rivalry matchups against Chicago during his time with Green Bay:
No better player to talk to than Davante Adams in Chicago:

Adams, obviously, is still well-loved by Packers fans despite requesting a trade away from the team following the 2022 NFL season.
This past year, Adams became the first wide receiver in NFL history to lead the league in touchdown receptions with three different teams, having done so with the Packers, Las Vegas Raiders, and Rams.
