The Green Bay Packers are scouting to find players at several positions of need before the 2023 NFL Draft. They were already due to find help in the secondary. Now that they lost another depth piece at safety Friday, more emphasis will be put into finding help there. The Packers are cutting a seventh-round pick from the 2020 NFL Draft.

Scott appeared in 18 total games for the Packers during the 2020 and 2021 seasons. He recorded one sack and 14 combined tackles for the Packers during his time in Green Bay. He did not play during the 2022 regular season, as he was put on injured reserve in August.
Scott’s absence has added to depth problems for the Packers in the secondary. The team has not re-signed veteran safety Adrian Amos this offseason. The Packers must address issues in the secondary during this year’s draft.
