The Green Bay Packers are heading into the biggest game of the season, by far. They’ll take on the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday Night Football. Both teams sit at 7-8 and know that a loss effectively ends any hope of making the playoffs in 2023.
The Packers announced a self-imposed suspension of their star cornerback Jaire Alexander on Wednesday. The decision came after Alexander’s actions prior to their contest against the Carolina Panthers. Now, the Packers are being linked to a veteran defender who could help their defense over the last two weeks.

“Not going out my way anymore and I’m not playing through injuries anymore cause when s*** goes wrong they always use it against you. I’m treating everyone accordingly and giving them the same energy they giving me. Focus on yourself and your mental 59 you owe it to yourself.”
So, it might be smart to bring in another veteran linebacker seeing as the Packers’ playoff hopes are still alive.

After being cut by Houston, Littleton signed with the New Orleans practice squad, only to be poached again by Houston to assist with injuries. Having gotten healthy, Houston released Littleton, who has been looking for a job ever since.
It is rare that late-season additions make a significant impact, but Littleton, a former Pro Bowler, started in Super Bowl LIII for then Jared Goff led Rams, would bring experience to a defense who has been bleeding as of late.
Whether or not the Packers’ front office feels the same way is a completely different story.
