The Green Bay Packers re-sign a cornerback
The Green Bay Packers watched a few pieces of the 2022 defensive pass rush sign with new teams last week. The Packers appear ready to rebuild parts of the roster as they rebuild for Jordan Love’s first entire season as a starting quarterback. The Packers added a depth piece to the secondary for next season.
The Packers reached agreements with a couple of players in the secondary last week. The Packers re-signed safety Rudy Ford. They were able to adjust cornerback Rasul Douglas’ contract so he could stay on the 2022 Packers squad. Another cornerback will join them.
According to a statement by the Packers, cornerback Corey Ballentine has been re-signed for the 2023 season.
