The Green Bay Packers have made some headway in replacing coaches that have departed from their staff so far this off-season. After announcing contract extensions for Matt LaFleur, general manager Brian Gutekunst, and executive Russ Ball, Green Bay formerly announced that Jonathan Gannon will be the team’s next defensive coordinator.
Prior to these official announcements, it was also reported that the Packers had hired Bobby Babich and Daniel Bullocks to their defensive coaching staff.
However, the team still has some work to do in terms of their offensive coaching staff. Quarterbacks coach Sean Mannion was recently hired away as the next offensive coordinator of the Philadelphia Eagles. And, as it turns out, Green Bay has some stiff competition when it comes to his replacement.
Green Bay Packers see the Chicago Bears interview Connor Senger

Last week, it was reported that Green Bay had interviewed Arizona Cardinals passing game coordinator Connor Senger to replace Mannion as quarterbacks coach. Formerly from West Allis, Wisconsin, Senger went to high school in Milwaukee and played college football at Wisconsin.
But while it seemed like the Packers would be the most attractive job to Senger, the Chicago Bears have thrown their hat in the ring for his services:
The #Bears have requested to interview Connor Senger for their offensive coordinator position, source said.

As one can see from the post above, Chicago wants to interview Senger for their vacant offensive coordinator job. Declan Doyle, their previous offensive coordinator, took the same role with the Baltimore Ravens.
As is the case in Green Bay, whoever the Bears hire for their offensive coordinator job will not be able to call their own plays. Ben Johnson, like LaFleur, calls the offensive plays.
However, being an offensive coordinator is a great deal more prestigious than being a quarterbacks coach, and Senger could be lured away by the title alone.
