There will be many questions about the Green Bay Packers this season. One of the first questions about this team this season will be who will step up as the number one wide receiver? Christian Watson, Jayden Reed, and Romeo Doubs will be with the first unit coming training camp, but Dontayvion Wicks and Bo Melton are right behind them.
The second question for the Green Bay Packers will be how will the 4-3 defensive scheme be compared to the old 3-4 scheme. A lot of fans were tired of the same old defense failing this football team and maybe the switch will benefit them this season.

One of the biggest things that the Green Bay Packers must take care of before the season begins is to give quarterback Jordan Love a contract extension. Some could view Love as a one-year wonder, but Packers fans feel like he is the long-term answer at the quarterback position.
Pro Football Network Thinks That Green Bay Packers Wide Receiver Christian Watson Is Overrated

Pro Football Network NFL Analyst Anthony DiBona wrote an article about an overrated player on each NFL team. One player that he chose for the Green Bay Packers was 2022 second-round selection Christian Watson. Watson was injured for eight games last season for the Packers.
DiBona said about Christian Watson:
“Similar to Williams, there was quite a bit of hype surrounding Green Bay Packers WR Christian Watson coming into the NFL after testing as one of the most athletic wide receivers in NFL history during the 2022 NFL Combine.
However, Watson’s athleticism hasn’t translated to immediate success. Although he’s certainly shown flashes at times, Watson has failed to cement himself as Green Bay’s WR1 and needs to prove that he can stay on the field and contribute in 2024.”
For now, Watson will be with the starting unit at the wide receiver position. However, it was no accident that he was mentioned in trade rumors during the NFL offseason.
Entering his third NFL season, Christian Watson will have to prove himself. Watson in nine games played last season caught 28 passes for 422 yards receiving and five touchdowns, along with averaging 15.1 yards per catch. He also was targeted 53 times.
One of the reasons why Watson had so much hype entering his second NFL season was because he had 611 yards receiving during his rookie and showed so much potential. Unfortunately, injuries can ruin the trajectory of a player’s career in a hurry.

Jayden Reed led the team in receiving yards last season with 793 yards. Romeo Doubs and Jayden Reed each had eight receiving touchdowns last season. Christian Watson will need to perform in training camp and also during the regular season to not be labeled as an overrated player and a bust. Dontayvion Wicks and Bo Melton will also see the field at some point this season.
