The Green Bay Packers during the 2022 offseason shockingly traded away wide receiver Davante Adams to the Las Vegas Raiders. Adams was one of the best wide receivers in the NFL at the time and he is still one of the best wide receivers in the NFL.
Current Packers teammate Josh Jacobs is trying to get Adams back to the Packers, but that would be extremely hard to do. Green Bay has a lethal offense because of its growth and development through the NFL Draft. They do not have a true number-one wide receiver on the roster despite having one of the most talented wide receiver groups in the NFL.

Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, and Jayden Reed will be in the first unit for now. Dontayvion Wicks, Malik Heath, and Bo Melton will be in the second unit.
Bleacher Report Suggests That the Green Bay Packers Should Trade For Dallas Cowboys Wide Receiver CeeDee Lamb

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb is entering the final year of his contract. The Cowboys have yet to give him a contract extension and he is currently holding out. The Minnesota Vikings just gave Justin Jefferson a four-year $140 million extension and $110 million of it will be guaranteed.
This is the kind of contract that Lamb will be looking for. He is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL. Bleacher Report suggests that the Dallas Cowboys should trade him to the Green Bay Packers for Romeo Doubs or Christian Watson, Jayden Reed, and a 2nd-round Pick.
Brad Gagnon of Bleacher Report said:
“The Green Bay Packers have a lot of good, though not great or well-established receivers. But in a huge year for Jordan Love and Co., the team might want to go bold with Lamb and sacrifice two of them because they’ve established the depth necessary to afford that swap.
Essentially, they have become top-heavy.
In this case, we’re presenting the idea of Dallas landing one primary slot guy to more directly replace Lamb (Jayden Reed) along with one of two talented but generally disappointing outside figures.
All come cheap right now, and the Cowboys would be foolish to turn away from them as well as some Day 2 draft capital ahead of such an odd-looking season.”
The fact that the Green Bay Packers would not have to give up a first-round pick for CeeDee Lamb would be amazing. Lamb is a first-round talent. Green Bay should not give up Romeo Doubs in this trade. That would be a mistake.
A receiving core of CeeDee Lamb, Romeo Doubs, and Dontayvion Wicks would be a very good 1-2-3 punch still. Wicks is just as talented as Christian Watson and Jayden Reed. Watson’s health can not be relied upon. In reality, the only reliable player you give up in this trade is Jayden Reed.
Reed could very well be the number-one receiver in this offense before the end of the 2024 season for the Green Bay Packers if they don’t trade him. Jayden Reed a season ago caught 64 passes for 793 yards receiving and eight touchdowns, along with averaging 12.4 yards per reception. He also had 11 carries for 119 yards rushing and two touchdowns. Reed averaged 10.8 yards per rush.
As for CeeDee Lamb a season ago, he had 135 receptions for 1,749 yards and 12 touchdowns. He averaged 13.0 yards per reception. Lamb is a Top-5 receiver in the NFL.

CeeDee Lamb is 25 years old, Jayden Reed is 24 years old, and Christian Watson is 25 years old. This would be a trade that the Green Bay Packers should think about. They wouldn’t do it because they have to pay quarterback Jordan Love and they do not want to worry about paying a superstar receiver for another couple of years also.
