There will be many battles to watch out for during training camp in July for the Green Bay Packers. Preseason games will take place in August before the start of the 2024 season. Green Bay has some positions unsettled. One of the biggest positions that is unsettled is the backup quarterback job to Jordan Love.
Sean Clifford and rookie Michael Pratt will compete for the job. Pratt could very well win the job over Clifford after the way he has performed so far this offseason.

Another position battle that will have the Green Bay Packers interested is also the left tackle starting job between Rasheed Walker and rookie Jordan Morgan. Walker is projected to be the starting left tackle over the first-round rookie this season.
Freddie Boston of Lombardiavenue.com Thinks That Carrington Valentine Will Win the Starting Cornerback Job Over Eric Stokes For the Green Bay Packers

Freddie Boston of lombardiavenue.com made predictions for the upcoming 2024 season with the 53-man roster after OTAs and mandatory minicamps ended. To no surprise, he has Jaire Alexander as the top cornerback on the Green Bay Packers roster.
What he does predict is that second-year player Carrington Valentine will be the starting cornerback over Eric Stokes. He has Valentine second and Keisean Nixon third. Boston thinks that Stokes will make the 53-man roster, but Eric Stokes will be the fourth cornerback on the roster.
Freddie Boston of lombardiavenue.com said:
“The Packers bring back a similar cornerback room to last year. They hope Jaire Alexander and Eric Stokes can stay healthy. Rookie Kalen King has shown potential in the slot and will have a chance to make the 53 if he can continue to impress at training camp.”
Stokes was a first-round pick (29th overall selection) in the 2021 NFL Draft out of Georgia. He has not stayed healthy. Eric Stokes was off to a good start in OTAs, but Carrington Valentine has picked up his game. This could be one of the best battles to watch for during training camp and they are thin at the position.

Valentine was a seventh-round pick from Kentucky in the 2023 NFL Draft. A season ago with the Green Bay Packers, he recorded 44 tackles, one forced fumble, and nine pass deflections.
Carrington Valentine did not record an interception or a sack, but he played very well his number was called on. Valentine can very well steal the starting cornerback job over Eric Stokes during training camp.
