The Green Bay Packers do not have a first round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. Right before the start of the 2025 NFL season, they sent this year’s first round pick, as well a next year’s, to the Dallas Cowboys as part of the trade that brought All-Pro pass rusher Micah Parsons to Green Bay. Pro Bowl defensive tackle Kenny Clark was also traded to the Cowboys in the deal.
This means, of course, that the Packers will have to wait until the second round to make their first pick in the draft. With a variety of needs on the roster, there is no shortage of positions that Green Bay could target with their first pick.
Bryan Bulaga, who played for Green Bay from 2010-2019, has an idea of who the Packers should target.
Green Bay Packers legend Bryan Bulaga urges team to draft Logan Jones from Iowa

As fans remember fondly, Bulaga was known for his player introduction during games for his deep “Bryan Bulaga, Iowa” statement. It is perhaps no surprise, therefore, that the former Iowa product wants the Packers to take Hawkeyes offensive lineman Logan Jones in the second round of the 2026 NFL Draft:
“I think if the center from Iowa is there, they’re taking the center from Iowa in the second round. That’s just my opinion,” Bulaga said.
Logan Jones, that center, would be an outstanding pick by Green Bay as they are likely going to cut Elgton Jenkins for salary cap reasons. Sean Rhyan, who filled in for Jenkins when he went down with a broken leg, is an impending free agent.
Per PFF, Jones finished with the best pass blocking grade in the country among centers(90.2). He also had a respectable 73.1 run blocking grade, which ranked 22nd out of 306 centers.
Indeed, adding some quality blocking up front should be among Green Bay’s top priorities in the NFL Draft. With multiple starters not returning, they need to reinforce the unit in front of quarterback Jordan Love.
Going back to drafting big and mean Big 10 linemen would be a great route to take in this respect.
