The Green Bay Packers saw their division rival pull off a massive trade today. The Chicago Bears reportedly had been shopping their number one overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. Today, they found a buyer. The Carolina Panthers traded an absolute haul in order to go up and get the number one pick. The Bears traded the first overall pick to the Carolina Panthers in exchange for:
- 9th overall pick
- 61st overall pick
- Carolina’s 2024 1st round pick
- Carolina’s 2025 2nd round pick
- Wide Receiver DJ Moore
Green Bay Packers Fans React To Massive Chicago Bears Trade

The Green Bay Packers biggest rival pulled off the biggest trade of the off-season so far. QB Justin Fields got their presumed number one wide receiver of the future. Green Bay Packers fans had a lot to say about this trade:

Likely a top 10 maybe top 5 pick next year with that Carolina 1st

This trade should be illegal…bears fleeced the panthers 💀

What a haul by the Bears! Holy crap!

Panthers got finessed.

Clearly many fans believe that the Chicago Bears won this trade by a land slide. It would appear that this trade means the Bears are putting their franchise if the hands of QB Justin Fields. If the Bears were interested in drafting a replacement for Justin Fields, they would have kept the number one overall pick. This will certainly make the Bears a more interesting team to watch going into 2023. The Bears have often been mocked to draft Ohio State WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba. A player that the Packers have often been mocked taking in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft.
