Count Green Bay Packers running back AJ Dillon among the many who were happy to see the Boston College Eagles pull off an upset Monday night in Tallahassee against the No. 10 Florida State Seminoles.
AJ Dillon reacts to Boston College’s huge win over Florida State
Dillon, who played college football for the Eagles, was busy on social media — particularly on X (formerly Twitter) — during the game. After Boston College got the 28-13 win, Dillon shared a crying GIF of The Office’s Michael Scott along with a caption that read: “Thank you @BCFootball👏👏🦅 #BC”

It’s the kind of uplifting news that Dillon could certainly use, as he just got a tough break. Dillon will not be able to play in the entire 2024 NFL season after getting placed on the injured reserve by the Packers due to a neck injury.
Boston College quarterback Thomas Castellanos passed for 106 yards and two touchdowns with zero interceptions on 10/16 completions. Dillon must also be proud of the Eagles’ body of work on the ground, as they managed to come up with 263 rushing yards and two scores on 52 carries.
Dillon, a former ACC Player of the Year and ACC Offensive Player of the Year, played for the Eagles from 2017 to 2019. During his stint with the Eagles, he amassed 4,382 rushing yards and 38 touchdowns on 845 carries. He would then apply for the 2017 NFL draft where he was selected by the Packers in the second round (62nd overall).
Dillon might have already played his last game in Packers uniform, as he is set to become a free agent in 2025.
