Former Green Bay Packers Aaron Rodgers is trying to figure out his NFL future this offseason. There is a chance that Rodgers will retire from the NFL this offseason.
He is one of the greatest quarterbacks of this generation. If Rodgers does play next season, but if it isn’t with the New York Jets, which NFL team could he play for?
WFAN Evan Roberts Thinks That Former Green Bay Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodgers Will Play For the New York Giants Next Season
Evan Roberts went onto WFAN on Wednesday with Tiki Barber to talk about where Rodgers will playing next season. Roberts said:
“Aaron Rodgers should be the quarterback of the New York Football Giants. John Mara told us on Monday that they better win next year. That’s what he told us. It gives you the chance to get the best of both worlds…Aaron Rodgers gives you the best chance to win while you’re developing your young quarterback and having him sit.”
There is a chance that the New York Giants miss out on both Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders in the 2025 NFL Draft by having the third overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. The Giants would need to hope Drew Allar somehow comes out or draft someone else with the third overall pick.
There is a chance that the Giants draft Travis Hunter from Colorado third overall, quarterback Jaxson Dart from Ole Miss in the second round, and have Dart learn from Aaron Rodgers during the 2025 NFL season for the New York Giants. Evan Roberts also added:
“Aaron Rodgers has glowingly talked about his time with the New York Jets…he likes it here. For all the crap the states of New Jersey and New York get, he likes it here…if they move on from him, I think he would look at not selling his house and moving.”
Rodgers is 41 years old and it would be interesting to see how much he would have left in the tank. This past season with the New York Jets, Aaron Rodgers completed 63.0% of his passes for 3,897 yards, 28 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions.

Evan never seems to get that no one but Jets ever wanted Rodgers since his final season with Packers

Do you believe he would have fared better than DJ did this year?
Not so sure… based on what he demonstrated with the Jets.
If Rex wouldn’t want Rodgers Country Club on his team I don’t believe Dabes/Schoen would either.
Not for his $$$
Let’s not go sideways, folks! ✌🏻

There is no doubt that there will be a crazy reaction if the former Green Bay Packers quarterback signed with the New York Giants this offseason if the New York Jets did not bring him back for the 2025 NFL season. Aaron Rodgers will be one of the biggest storylines this NFL offseason.
