As the 2024 season approaches, he was spotted on a vacation with a former 81-game teammate.
Former Green Bay Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodgers Spending Time With Long Time Teammate
Rodgers was seen with free-agent tight end Marcedes Lewis at UFC 302 in Newark, sparking speculation of a Jets-Rodgers collaboration.
During the last three NFL seasons, Marcelles Lewis, 40, hasn’t missed a game. During his career, Lewis has played in 268 regular season games and caught 40 touchdown passes.

Would Marcedes Lewis Team Up With Aaron Rodgers Again?
The rumors that Rodgers and Lewis will join forces are based on their shared history and potential fit in the Jets’ line-up, but there has been no official confirmation.
There are no proven tight end options beyond Tyler Conklin and Jeremy Ruckert for the Jets at the moment. It’s expected that Kenny Yeboah will fill the position of TE3, but his blocking skills are suspect.
In addition to providing Rodgers with a familiar target, Rodgers and Lewis could boost the Jets’ tight end depth.
With Rodgers and Lewis teaming up, the Jets would gain a seasoned tight end option and enhance their offensive abilities, specifially in the run game. Lewis has established himself as one of the best run blocking tight ends in the NFL for years.
