When the Green Bay Packers fell to the Chicago Bears 22-16 last week Saturday, there were many among the fanbase who considered the season over and their chances of making the NFL Playoffs gone. The fact that both Jordan Love and Malik Willis got injured during the game did not help matters.
However, for the third season in a row and sixth time in the last seven years, the Packers are headed to the NFL Playoffs. And the fact that they have been able to clinch a spot so early was because they got help from two of their former stars who are currently playing for different teams.
Aaron Jones and Aaron Rodgers have helped the Green Bay Packers make the NFL Playoffs

At 9-5-1, the Packers will now, at the very least, be the seventh seed in the NFC. Despite being behind the 11-4 Bears in the standings, they were able to secure a spot in the postseason because the Detroit Lions lost each of their last two games.
The first of these was against former Packers star Aaron Rodgers, who completed 27 of 41 passes against them for 266 yards and a touchdown on December 21.
Then, on Christmas Day, the lowly Minnesota Vikings, with Max Brosmer starting at quarterback, knocked the Lions out of the playoff picture for good. As they did not have their starting quarterback, Minnesota relied heavily on former Packers running back Aaron Jones, who had 18 carries for 53 yards and a touchdown.
And while the fear of some may be that Green Bay will mail it in for the final two weeks of the season, it should be noted that they can still win the NFC North by winning each of their remaining games and Chicago losing each of theirs.
The Packers play the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday and the Vikings next week. Meanwhile, the Bears have matchups against the San Francisco 49ers and Lions left to finish the year.
