The Athletic recently published a list of the top 25 players aged 25 years or younger. Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love is among the youngsters who made the list, coming in at No. 11.
Described to be “poised to take another massive leap forward in 2024,” the 25-year-old Love is carrying lots of expectations in his second year as the Packers’ full-time starter. The same can be said about the other NFC North division players ranked ahead of Love.
On top of the list is Minnesota Vikings star wide receiver Justin Jefferson, who just turned 25 years old last June.
Another NFC North player there is Detroit Lions right tackle Penei Sewell, who will just be 24 years old this coming October. Ranked sixth, The two-time Pro Bowler is one of the reasons the Lions have become a force again not just in the division but in the entire league.

Sewell is joined in the top 10 by his teammate, wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, who ranks 10th overall. Turning 25 years old in October, St. Brown is an important offensive weapon for the Lions attack that finished the 2023 NFL regular season fifth in the league with 27.4 points per game.

For what it’s worth, this is how The Athletic’s description for Love reads:
Love went on a tear to close out his first season as a starter and propelled the Packers into the playoffs, where they upset the Cowboys in the wild-card round, then suffered a narrow 24-21 loss to the 49ers in the divisional round. Love (4,159 yards, 32 touchdowns, 11 interceptions) appears poised to take another massive leap forward in 2024.
