One of the bright spots of the Green Bay Packers defensive line this season has been Kenny Clark. One of the issues for the Packers defense this has been trying to generate a pass rush despite having an 8-3 record. One of the reasons why Green Bay is aggressive on defense is because of safety Xavier McKinney.
The Green Bay Packers will be hosting the 2025 NFL Draft and they hope to keep their first-round selection. Two of the biggest needs for the Packers in the draft this year will be cornerback and more defensive line help.
Pro Football Focus Has the Green Bay Packers Getting Kenny Clark More Help In the 2025 NFL Draft
On Monday, Pro Football Focus writer Gordon McGuinness created his updated NFL Mock Draft for 2025. He has the Green Bay Packers selecting 27th overall. With that selection, McGuinness has them selecting defensive lineman Tyleik Williams from Ohio State. He said:
“The Packers have just one interior defender with a PFF grade above 60.0 this season, making a player like Tyleik Williams a valuable addition. The Ohio State standout has consistently performed at a high level, having put up a PFF grade of 74.0 or higher in all four of his college seasons.”
He is 6’3″ and weighs 327 lbs. Tyleik Williams this season for the Ohio State Buckeyes has recorded 25 tackles and 2.5 sacks. Williams on the Green Bay Packers would be a big help for defensive tackle Kenny Clark.
Team Stats
Rashan Gary leads the team with 4.5 sacks this season. The Green Bay Packers lack a pass rush. They need to draft someone who will get after the quarterback or who will help bulk up the defensive line to open up lanes for others to get after the quarterback.
Tyleik Williams and Kenny Clark would be a nice duo together on the defensive line. Green Bay is also not deep on the defensive line either.
