Juju Smith-Schuster was once believed to be the heir to Antonio Brown for the Pittsburgh Steelers. During his early years, he showed an incredible amount of potential. Juju had a great year in 2018, but he has slowly tapered off since then.

Juju is at the point in his career where most veterans are willing to take a one or two year “prove it” deal. Often times, those deals are with teams with elite QBs to help the veteran. Oh, and here’s one more interesting stat:
Juju Smith-Schuster:
Games with Antonio Brown as teammate 30
Games w/o Antonio Brown as teammate 33100-yd-rec games with Brown as teammate 11

Juju has proven that he has a lot of potential, but when he is the #1 wide receiver, he struggles. Coming to Green Bay would be major for him, getting to (potentially) play with a true #1 WR in Davante Adams and be featured as the strong #2 option.
Contract Projection:
Due to being a veteran in the league, Smith-Schuster is looking at a one or two year deal for approximately seven to nine million dollars per year. This is something Green Bay can absolutely do, given how much progress they have already made on their cap.
The #Packers converted $2M of LT David Bakhtiari’s base salary & his $9.5M roster bonus into signing bonus, clearing $9.16M of cap space.
GB has now opened up over $23M of cap via restructures, but still sit a projected $28M over. https://t.co/gtr9qy6E9Y

Green Bay still has a long way to go, but a deal like this to bring in Juju Smith-Schuster would immediately create one of the best WR duos in the NFL. Going after a championship takes a few moves like these.
