The Golden State Warriors before the NBA trade deadline traded for Jimmy Butler and traded away Andrew Wiggins and other pieces to the Miami Heat. On Monday night on the road against the Milwaukee Bucks, Butler made an impact in the game once again and the Warriors defeated the Bucks by a final score of 125-111.

With the win for Golden State, they improved to 27-26 on the season. As for Milwaukee, they dropped to 28-24 on the year. The Warriors are looking to make a late-season push in the Western Conference.

To no surprise, Butler needed to be the second option for Golden State outside of Steph Curry. Jimmy Butler scored 20 points, but he only shot 33.3% from the field. He also grabbed nine rebounds, recorded six assists, and recorded four steals. Butler provides energy on the offensive and defensive end of the floor.

Steph Curry played in his 1000th career game for the Warriors in his NBA career. He had another spectacular night for the franchise. Curry scored 38 points and shot 50 percent from the field. He also grabbed six rebounds and recorded four assists.

Two other players scored in double figures for Golden State against Milwaukee. Moses Moody scored 13 points for the Warriors. His other stats were three rebounds, one assist, one block, and three steals. Buddy Hield also scored 16 points.

There are a lot of Golden State Warriors fans who are optimistic for the rest of the season. They may not be the championship team they once were, but Jimmy Butler and Steph Curry being a duo for this team will make things fascinating in the NBA. It will be something to keep an eye on after the win against the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday night.
