With the Golden State Warriors being eliminated against the Minnesota Timberwolves in five games, they will look to make changes to the roster in the offseason. One of the positions that Golden State will look to upgrade at is the center position.

The Warriors are looking to make win-now moves around Steph Curry and Jimmy Butler. One center who will be a free agent this offseason is Brook Lopez. The Milwaukee Bucks will most likely not re-sign him this offseason. Milwaukee will also look to make massive changes to its roster this upcoming offseason. Lopez could have some interest on the open market in free agency.
NBA Insider Reports That the Golden State Warriors Could Sign Brook Lopez This Offseason

Bobby Marks of ESPN talked about where Lopez could land this NBA offseason. He thinks that the Warriors could target the Bucks center in free agency this summer. Marks said,
“I think the one name to keep an eye on regarding that center position is Brook Lopez.”
Lopez is 37 years old. One of the things that the Warriors lacked this season was size at the center position. This is probably one of the reasons why Golden State is very interested in signing him. He played in 80 games last season for Milwaukee.
Lopez averaged 13.0 PPG, 5.0 RPG, and 1.8 APG, along with shooting 50.9% from the field. Golden State bringing him in potentially next season would be an interesting move despite his age. Milwaukee is going to turn the page most likely at the center position. It would also be intriguing to see how many years and how much money the Warriors would give him if they were to sign him in free agency.
