Khris Middleton is set to return on Friday versus the Lakers. There is one Bucks player that is very happy. Giannis Antetokounmpo is excited to have Middleton back on the court. Giannis was asked about Khris Middleton’s return and gushed about the all-star guard.

Giannis Shares Thoughts On Khris Middleton’s Return
It is clear that Giannis and Middleton are close. “I’m very excited to have Khris back. I miss him,” Giannis said when asked about what it means to have Middleton back. It has been a while since Middleton was on the court for the Bucks. He went out in last year’s playoffs and did not return to game action the rest of the season. He has spent the first part of the season rehabbing and it seems he is finally ready. Giannis thinks that Middleton might be the key to unlocking more of the offense.
“He Makes The Game Easier For Me”
The Bucks’ defense has been otherworldly but the offense has sputtered at times. Giannis thinks that Middleton could have a profound effect on the offense. “He makes the game easier for me,” Giannis said. It isn’t surprising to hear Giannis say this. Middleton’s shot-making ability means that opposing defenses must respect him. This leaves more spacing on the court for Giannis to do his thing. Giannis didn’t stop with the praise of Middleton saying, “he’s one of the best players in the league.” This is high praise from a player that is a frontrunner in the MVP race this season.
I’m sure Giannis is not the only one who is excited to have Khris Middleton return. Everything will seem a little easier with a former all-star out there. We get our first look at Middleton on Friday versus the Lakers.
