Giannis Antetokounmpo is a star that has arrived for the Bucks. And while he hasn’t had the best stretch of games by his standards, he offered some reassurance to Bucks fans on social media to “keep building” and trust in the team. Milwaukee lost on the road to the hapless Rockets 97-92.

The Game and the week
The problem for the Bucks was simply poor shooting. Giannis was 7-17 from the field while Bobby Portis was 7-15. The team was only 12-43 from behind the arc, shooting a lowly 27%. And while Houston did not shoot much better from the three point line, (6-27), they did manage to shoot well from the paint. Brook Lopez was only 2-8 from the field.
Even though Houston averages an NBA worst 17.8 turnovers a game, the Bucks were unable to score much off those turnovers. Houston’s budding star Jalen Green ended the game with a +/- 19. For Giannis he ended the game scoring 16 points in 37 minutes. (+/- 16)
After this Sunday’s loss, the Bucks play Golden State on Tuesday in Milwaukee. The game will be nationally televised on TNT. Golden State is coming off a big win at home versus Boston. It’ll be a Giannis vs Steph match-up.
For the Rockets it was a major win, dedicated to Coach Silas whose father passed away.

Paul Silas’s son, Stephen Silas is the current head coach of the Houston Rockets. Coach Silas had to miss the Rockets game against the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday night due to the death of his father.
