The New York Knicks have long been in the conversation about a potential trade involving none other than Milwaukee Bucks superstar forward Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The Knicks and the Bucks had a window back in the offseason to discuss such a potential huge transaction, but talks eventually broke down. Nevertheless, the hope that New York will eventually land Antetokounmpo is still there among Knicks fans.

Knicks fans want New York to get Bucks’ Antetokounmpo

Following the Knicks’ 121-90 loss to Cade Cunningham and the Detroit Pistons on Monday night at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan, New York fans are again wishing the Atlantic Division team to get serious about trading for Antetokounmpo.

“Time to start the real conversation of trading Towns, Robinson, and Hart. Knicks need a change. Bring in Giannis and Myles Turner for picks, Mitch, Towns and Hart. Easy fix,” said a fan on X.

Another one said: “I cannot stress badly enough how bad the Knicks need giannis I legitimately have no words.”

From a commenter: “Knicks price for Giannis just skyrocketed.”

“Maybe the Knicks do need to trade for Giannis…,” a social media user posted.

Via a different commenter: “Knicks need Giannis, straight up.”

Said another: “Leon Rose needs to get Giannis like Trump got the Venezuelan Dictator #Knicks.”

It’s a good time for Knicks fans to ask the team’s front office to go after Antetokounmpo, as New York is on a slump. The Knicks have lost all of their last four games, three of which were by double-digit margins.

As for Antetokounmpo and the Bucksm, they are gaining momentum, having won two games in a row, with a chance to win their third consecutive contest this Wednesday against Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors at Chase Center in San Francisco, California.
