Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks have been putting together a special season. As the regular season is coming to a close, the team is looking to make another run at a championship. After last night’s victory over the Spurs, Giannis talked about the impact of one specific player, his brother Thanasis.

Giannis Antetokounmpo On The Impact Thanasis Has
Thanasis doesn’t play many minutes. In fact, the only way he is brought in is if the Bucks are blowing an opponent out. After missing a couple of games, one wouldn’t think that his absence would have been noticed. This is not the case. Giannis has this to say about his brother.
“The couple of games that he wasn’t here, our energy was kind of off. He’s just like such a great human being. …I’m happy that he’s back.”
While this is definitely some brotherly love, having a person to keep the bench energy up can be a vital part of a team. Everyone has a role and Thanasis plays his to perfection.

Full Team Effort Going Into The Postseason
This Bucks team is full of players that know their role and play it well. Giannis, Jrue Holiday, and Khris Middleton are the leaders in the scoring department. Brook Lopez anchors the defense and occasionally will go off in scoring. Grayson Allen, Jae Crowder, and the other role players know what is expected of them. Bobby Portis is a great off-the-bench double-double guy. There is so much to like about this team.
The Bucks are on the fast track to locking up the number-one seed in the Eastern Conference. There are a handful of games left. While it is not clinched, Milwaukee is hoping to make the road to the finals go through their home court.
