Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo delivered in the clutch, leading the team to a 105–101 road victory over the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday. He posted 21 points, six rebounds, and five assists, while making pivotal defensive plays in the final moments, including shutting down LeBron James to secure the win.
After the game, Giannis paid respect to LeBron. According to ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne, he requested James’ jersey and entered the Bucks’ locker room wearing it, while his brother Thanasis sported a Bronny James jersey.

Kevin Porter Jr. scored 22 points, Kyle Kuzma added 13 against his former team, and Bobby Portis contributed 11 points and 12 rebounds as the Bucks improved to 2-1 on their four-game road trip. Milwaukee has now gone 5-2 since December 27.
Luka Doncic finished with 24 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists, hitting four of six three-point attempts but struggling inside the paint, making only four of 19 two-point shots.
The victory improved the Bucks’ record to 17–21, moving them closer to a play-in spot in the Eastern Conference. Meanwhile, the Lakers dropped to 23–13 and stayed in fifth place in the Western Conference standings.
