The last two postseasons have been disastrous for the Milwaukee Bucks and much of it can be credited to the fact that team superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo was barely there.

In 2023 against the Miami Heat as first overall seed, he played just 2.5 games, leading to one of the most epic upset in NBA history. The next one against the Indiana Pacers, he did not play at all.
It is a different story this time heading to the Saturday postseason (a rematch with the Pacers).
The Greek Freak got injured around three games before the end of regular season last year. This time, he was a monster on all facets in the last eight games he played before sitting out the last one of the elimination round.

He is healthy and ready to roar.

The two-time MVP, who earlier this season said the main threat to their title chase is their own health, said suggested that staying healthy has been quite hard for him. He is thanking the Bucks staff for that.
“I made a lot of adjustment that I keep private, but it’s definitely luck. Luck plays a role, too,” he said.
“You can be unlucky like going down three games or I remember three games, six games before playoffs last year, that’s been unlucky. But yeah, think we made a lot of adjustments, me and my team. And I’m here today, so I’m happy.”

With him finally healthy again, he is ready to pour everything or anything on the hardwood.
“Here where I am, whatever is thrown to me, I’ll adapt,” he said. “If it’s 30 minutes, great. If it’s 40 minutes, if it’s 45 minutes, it doesn’t really matter. I’m just happy that I’m out there and ready to compete.”
