Garrett Mitchell of the Milwaukee Brewers has had quite an eventful past two baseball games. During Tuesdays contest against the New York Mets he had a multi home run game and then on Wednesday he hit a walk off home run that completed the Brew Crew’s sweep of the Mets. Following the walk off, Mitchell admitted that when his wife doesn’t show up to games, usually something good happens.

Haley Cruse, wife of Brewers rookie outfielder Garrett Mitchell, is a professional softball player for USSSA Pride. She has been one of Garrett’s top supporters throughout his baseball journey, but for whatever reason her husband seems to put on a show when she is not present at the ballpark.
As seen in the video above, Garrett Mitchell thought talking about this during his post game interview would be a great idea. Little did he know that his comments would lead to a series of events in which Haley trolled him on the internet.

In the locker room, Garrett Mitchell tried to sweet talk his way out of his previous comments by saying he was excited to spend Thursday’s off day with Haley. She again hilariously commented back.

The Milwaukee Brewers play next at home on Friday against the St. Louis Cardinals. It will be interesting to see if Haley is present or not. Regardless of the outcome, the comments from these two are all in good fun and shouldn’t be taken out of context.
