First Quarter
The Milwaukee Bucks got to a red-hot start in the first quarter of game 5. For a majority of the quarter they led by double digits. Giannis led the way, shooting 100% from the field in the first with 15 points. The Bulls just didn’t have a chance. 6 first quarter bench points from Pat Connaughton and 4 from Grayson Allen did further damage.
Giannis ended the first quarter with a tough and-1 on Derrick Jones Jr., who tallied his 3rd foul on the play. The already short handed Bulls entered a bit of foul trouble as they entered the second quarter down 18-34.
Second Quarter
New quarter, same story. The Bucks led by as many as 29 in the second quarter. Leading scorer DeMar DeRozan offered no help, only adding 4 points in 21 minutes. The Bulls did show some fight and went on an 8-0 run, denting the Bucks lead slightly. The Bucks had 8 different scorers in the first half.
Giannis continued to dominate the paint. He went into half with 23 points on only one missed shot. Bucks led 60-42 heading to the locker room at half.

Third Quarter
The Bucks maintained a comfortable lead throughout the third. Never having their lead drop into single digits. With the lead, the Bucks looked to the bench for big minutes. Pat and Grayson were there to answer the call. Scoring big in the third.
Fourth Quarter
The Bulls showed signs of life, Vucevic especially. He was big for the Bulls in the fourth, finishing the night with 19 points. But, it wasn’t enough. The Chicago Bulls went quietly into the night with a first round playoff exist.
The Bucks had scoring pickup in the fourth, believe it or not. Brook Lopez, Bobby Portis, Jrue Holiday, Pat Connaughton and Grayson Allen all got into double digit scoring. Even with the consistent lead, the defending champs never let off the gas.
