The Milwaukee Bucks enter Game 5 with a 3-1 series lead. They’re looking to end the Chicago Bulls’s season Wednesday night at the Fiserv Forum. The Bucks responded very well in games 3 and 4, blowing out the Bulls by a combined 54 points. Here’s what to expect in Game 5.
More Grayson Allen Please
Games 3 and 4 was the Grayson Allen show. Allen scored a combined 49 points on 11-14 from three. Bulls fans let him hear it early as they are still angry about his hard foul on Alex Caruso. As a result, Caruso missed a month of the regular season. This is the most confident we have seen Allen in a Bucks uniform. It’s clear he’s been picking up the slack in the absence of Khris Middleton.
I would expect the Bucks to look to Allen right away when he comes of the bench. If he continues his hot shooting, I don’t see the Bucks losing game 5.
Look For The Bulls To Play Desperate
Chicago looked like the desperate team on Sunday and they’ll be the desperate team Wednesday. Their season is on the line and they’ll do everything they can to send this series back to Chicago for a Game 6.
Expect players such as Zach Lavine and DeMar DeRozen to play over 40 minutes and attempt over 20 shots each. They are the duo Chicago relies on for offense. I don’t expect them to sit much expect possibly the end of quarters and leading up to media timeouts.
Don’t Go Back To Chicago
This is not a must-win for the Bucks at all. However, you don’t want to go back to Chicago up 3-2. You don’t want to give the Bulls any life and any reason to believe they are back in this series. The Chicago fans came out in games 3 and 4 and made their presence known.
The Bucks have a chance to end this series and rest up a little bit before facing who would probably be the Boston Celtics. A win against your rival in front of your home crowd would make this even sweeter.
The Bucks have not panicked in this series. Their postseason experience is showing and that’s why I believe they’ll end the series Wednesday. They know the longer they play the more hope they give the Bulls.
