Spencer Lytle, a Linebacker for the Wisconsin Badgers, has officially announced his next destination for his collegiate career. Lytle, who appeared in 15 games over three seasons for Badgers football and recorded 7 tackles, will be heading back to his home state of California to join Stanford University.

Lytle took to Twitter to share his decision, expressing gratitude for receiving an offer from his “dream school.” In his tweet, he stated, “Beyond thankful to receive an offer from my dream school. With that being said, I am also committing to Stanford University to finish out my athletic career and education.”
Excellence on and off the Wisconsin Badgers Football Field
During his time at Wisconsin, Lytle not only showcased his skills on the field but also excelled in the classroom. He was a three-time Academic All-Big Ten selection, highlighting his commitment to both academics and athletics.
The California native spent the years 2020 to 2022 with the Badgers, contributing to the team’s efforts on defense. His playing time was limited, Lytle continued to be ready whenever he was needed.
Hailing from Southern California, the talented prospect garnered significant attention during his high school years, receiving more than 40 offers from esteemed programs including Auburn, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Texas, Oregon, and many others.
