A former Packers player wants Allen Lazard on their team
The Green Bay Packers brass will decide the direction of the roster soon. The Packers will choose to either try and keep many pieces from previous seasons for another attempt to win a Super Bowl with Aaron Rodgers. Or the team could rebuild around Jordan Love. A former Packers wide receiver wants Allen Lazard to join them in Kansas City if the Packers don’t extend them.
Packers’ alumn recruiting players in Green Bay has been a common scene on social media this offseason. Davante Adams has been clear that he would prefer Aaron Rodgers join him in Las Vegas. Now one of Adams’ former teammates is trying to recruit Lazard to be Adams’ rival in the AFC West.
Chiefs wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling wants Lazard to join forces with him next season. He sent a tweet in support of Lazard and asked that Lazard goes to Kansas City.
Pay the man ! Happy whatever way it go for you. But also come to KC. @AllenLazard https://t.co/E0NIdHOfNj

If Lazard were to become a Chief, there would be only more comparisons between Patrick Mahomes and Rodgers. Imagine Mahomes winning another Super Bowl with a roster of former Packers wide receivers.
Lazard could still sign with the Packers in free agency. After all, his name is one of the five Rodgers wants back if he stays in Green Bay. However, Lazard has indicated he played his last game as a member of the Packers in January.
